Tekla Farms is a destination for families who want a taste of the sweeter aspects of farm life on an idyllic island.
Locally owned and operated by Brian and Laura Torma with the help of their kids and friends!
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
Our farm name pays homage to Brian’s Grandmother, Tekla, who homesteaded and farmed in Northern Minnesota after immigrating to the US from Finland. Brian’s older brother continues to run the homestead to this day.
