Tekla Sunday School is in session

Sunday, May 17th from 10:30 am - 12 pm

Join Laura and Whitney for an immersive spring floral design workshop. We’ll begin our time together with a farm tour showcasing what is in bloom including a stop to visit the Tekla Farms sheep.

Then Whitney will guide us through floral design principles and the art of designing with fresh spring flowers straight from our farm. Take home your design and enjoy!

Light refreshments will be provided. Please wear comfortable sturdy walking shoes and your most fabulous sun hat (we are hoping for great weather!) - workshop will happen rain or shine.

Space is limited

Gifting this on farm experience? We’ll send you a pdf detailing the workshop to print/forward to the recipient.

As we are a small team working to make these happen, we are unable to accommodate cancellations. Please be sure you can attend or pass on your ticket to a friend if you can’t make it!

ABOUT
TEKLA FARMS

Tekla Farms is a destination for families who want a taste of the sweeter aspects of farm life on an idyllic island.

Locally owned and operated by Brian and Laura Torma with the help of their kids and friends!

WHAT’S IN A NAME?

Our farm name pays homage to Brian’s Grandmother, Tekla, who homesteaded and farmed in Northern Minnesota after immigrating to the US from Finland. Brian’s older brother continues to run the homestead to this day.
